WEBSTER, N.Y. — A 25-year-old man is in the hospital after he was shot on Thursday night in Webster. Webster Police say the man was shot as he walked into his apartment located behind Knucklead Brewery on Ridge Road.
He was taken to Strong Hospital with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries. Officials say people at the brewery at the time of the shooting sheltered in place.
“They were very helpful. They stayed inside, let us conduct our business, take care of the preliminary investigation, getting aid to the victim, and securing the scene,” said Webster Police Chief Dennis Kohlmeier.
Webster Police are still investigating and have not made an arrest in this case.
