Power restored to thousands of National Grid customers

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Cold temperatures brought on by a Nor’easter made it a cold morning to be without power for a lot of local residents.

More than 7,000 National Grid customers in the area were in the dark while the utility made essential repairs to its poles and power lines.

As of 1 p.m. Saturday, power has been restored, which was earlier than expected.
