ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Electric car lovers met on Saturday at RIT for the annual electric car show. It was hosted by Greater Rochester Clean Cities and New York State Electric Auto Association in celebration of National Drive Electric Week.
Many of the electric vehicles available on the market were there for people to check out. Organizers hope it will inspire people to make the change to an electric vehicle.
“It’s really the whole purpose of this show. It’s for owners of cars to share their experiences with people that want to learn more, ask questions, and make the next step on getting one,” said Bob Kanauer, Co-organizer, Rochester Electric Car Show.
More than 50 plug-in electric vehicles were represented at the show.
