ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce held its second annual College Fest on Saturday. Over 100 local businesses, and many area colleges, were there. The goal was to get students out and socializing, along with showing them that Rochester is a great place to live, and work, after graduation.

“We got great press from the first year we did it, and they couldn’t wait to come back. It’s just different, it’s unique. The idea of blending colleges and universities together so it’s not just one, it’s all of them, students really loved that. It gave them the opportunity to network, not only with each other, but to meet employers in a really casual environment,” said Barb Egenhofer, Director of Talent Strategy, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce

Organizers hope students “fall in love with Rochester,” after Saturday’s event.
