Rochester firefighters battle apartment fire on Wilbur Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Everyone is safe after an apartment fire on Wilbur Street on the city’s west side Thursday morning.

Rochester firefighters were worried that the fire could spread to nearby houses but they were able to put it out before it could spread. Fire officials say that the handful of residents got out safely.
