Rochester man sentenced 15 years for killing father inside home

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester man convicted of stabbing his 70-year-old father to death was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Tuesday.
Detric Marshall was convicted of stabbing his father inside the home they shared on Dayton Street near Hudson Avenue last January.
The stabbing happened after an argument. Marshall was visibly emotional at his arraignment in January, crying with his head down in Rochester City Court.
