ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Rochester Police went to the area of Backus Street and Emerson Street after a gunshot was reported. They found that a car was damaged not by gunshots, but by the use of an incendiary device. The RPD Bomb Squad responded and is investigating.

There were no injuries and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
