18-year-old shot late Wednesday night

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police are investigating after an 18-year-old was taken to the hospital after he was shot in the lower body.

Officers responded to Rochester General Hospital around 10 p.m. on Wednesday after a private car dropped off the 18-year-old city resident. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

RPD is working to determine where the shooting happened and what led up to the shooting.
