Fire at Irondequoit Plaza closes several businesses; No injuries

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. – Firefighters fought a three-alarm fire at Irondequoit Plaza on Titus Avenue Saturday afternoon.

A third alarm was called because of the size of the fire, how close it was to other businesses, and the weather.

The Irondequoit Fire District said the fire started at Speedy Cleaner and spread to the Dollar Tree and Bagels etc. All three businesses are currently closed, with the cleaners being damaged the most.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
