Several horses die in arson at Tioga Downs

NICHOLS, N.Y. — New York State Police are investigating after a barn fire at Tioga Down Casino killed numerous racehorses.

State Police say they responded in the early morning hours on Thursday. An ongoing investigation has shown that the fire was an arson.

Officials say a suspect is in custody. State Police say further information will be released depending on the results of the investigation.
