Shelter-in-place lifted at McQuaid

BRIGHTON, N.Y. — McQuaid Jesuit High School went into a shelter-in-place status today. School officials say a suspicious object was found in one of the school’s hallways around 11 a.m. today.

Brighton Police and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office investigated, and there was no threat to the school or students, school officials say. The shelter-in-place was lifted, and school continued as normal.
