NEWARK, N.Y. – Six people are hurt in a crash in Newark. It happened around 4:00 Sunday on East Union Street and was initially labeled a “mass casualty incident.”

That’s because there were more patients on scene than EMS could safely and efficiently transport. However, all six people in the car are in stable condition.

Names have been released at this time and cause of the crash is under investigation.
