South Clinton Avenue reopens after suspicious package investigation

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – At 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, members of the Rochester Police Department saw a suspicious package in a parking lot on South Clinton Avenue.

The street was briefly closed and neighbors were asked to stay in their homes during the investigation.  RPD’s bomb squad took the package and is working to identify its contents. South Clinton Avenue has since re-opened and the investigation is ongoing.
