ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The United Christian Leadership Ministry will host a community Q&A on the topic of bail reform and gun violence in the city of Rochester.
The topic of cash bail reform has been widely discussed and a politically contentious issue since reforms were passed in 2019.
State lawmakers have revised the original bail reform law twice since that time. UCLM is encouraging the community to come out, ask questions, raise concerns and share their thoughts about bail reform or the persistent gun violence in the city.
The event is at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at First Church of God on Clarissa Street.
