Van crashes into nail salon in Greece

GREECE, N.Y. – Greece Police said that on Wednesday just before 8 p.m., a van crashed into Wonderland Nail Spa at 840 Long Pond Rd.

Officers found that a northbound van entered the parking lot and, in doing so, bumped the curb with its tires, which startled the driver. The driver then accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal, causing the van to drive into the front of the nail salon.

The accident caused substantial damage to the front of the business. The van’s driver was taken to a local hospital and later released.

There were no other injuries.
