Woman and dog recovering after being hit by car in crosswalk of Park Avenue neighborhood

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – On Saturday night, a 26-year-old city woman was walking in the South Goodman and Park avenues crosswalk with her dog. Both were hit by a car.

The victim complained of low body pain but refused treatment. The dog was not hurt.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene and police say drugs and alcohol were not a factor.
