Woman who called police 256 times charged with stalking, harassment

WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. — A Clyde woman was arrested for allegedly calling the police more than 200 times.
Wayne County deputies say Michele Benedict, 52, called the Seneca Falls Police Department 256 times in an attempt to talk to one officer. Deputies say she didn’t have a legitimate emergency to report.
