Wyoming County man faces child sex abuse charge

WYOMING COUNTY, N.Y. — A Wyoming County man is accused of child sex abuse.

Jeremy Nugent, 47, of Wethersfield is charged with predatory sexual assault against a child under 13 and assault. Prosecutors say it’s alleged to have happened for more than four years, staring in 2016.

Nugent is out on bail. He is due back in Wyoming County Court on Dec. 7.
