ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against the Town of Greece accusing Supervisor Bill Reilich of forcing a town employee to do work for him on the side for free.

The suit claimed Reilich made public works employee Robert Johnson do work for Reilich’s side business, the Hot Rod Ranch, in Sweden.

It also claimed Reilich retaliated against Johnson when he refused to lie about it.

Judge Elizabeth Wolford didn’t find Johnson’s arguments persuasive.

In a statement, Reilich called the decision “an important victory for the town and its taxpayers.”

Johnson ws suing for more than $5 million in back pay, overtime, health benefits, and future losses.
