Rochester Police charge 9 people during prostitution detail

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Officers with the Rochester Police Department were searching for anyone patronizing prostitutes during a detail Thursday night in the Lyell Avenue area.
As a result, the following nine people were charged with patronizing a person for prostitution in the third degree:
- Steven Lay, 72, of Webster
- Kit Terruli, 54, of Rochester
- Abdullah Ahmed, 32, of Rochester NY
- Carlos Loja-Simbaina, 27, of Rochester NY
- Jorge Arroyo, 38, of Greece NY
- Todd Robinson, 60, of Victor NY
- Lucas Juanes, 51, of Rochester NY
- Nijuana Hamilton, 31, of Rochester NY
- Jeshar Escoffery, 31, of Rochester NY
