WYOMING COUNTY, N.Y. — Fire crews responded to a crash in the Town of Warsaw Sunday morning at 10 a.m. That is about 20 minutes northwest of Letchworth State Park.

Fire crews tell News10NBC that the crash happened on CPL Gerald B Ramsey Memorial Highway near the intersection of routes 20A and 238, when an RV hit a tractor-trailer.

Nine people were involved in the crash: The tractor-trailer had two people in it, while the RV was carrying a family of seven.

The front of the RV, which was destroyed, hit the side of the tractor-trailer. First responders said the force of the crash sent the RV off the road and into a nearby field. Despite the damage to both vehicles, seven
of the nine people were not injured. That includes four of the five children, all under the age of 15.

The youngest child, who is three years old was taken to the hospital but is expected to recover. The driver of the RV was taken by Mercy Flight to the hospital for a leg injury.
