ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Trillium Health’s White Party is back to celebrate the progress made towards an AIDS-free generation.

More than 400 guests, dressed in their best white outfits, will attend Trillium Health’s largest fundraiser of the year on Saturday, August 13 at 7 p.m.

“The White Party is incredibly important to Trillium Health,” said Andrea DeMeo, President, and CEO. “In addition to being a celebration of the progress that we’ve made to End the HIV Epidemic, the support that we receive helps us continue to expand testing, outreach, education, prevention, and treatment to reach more individuals at risk for infection. Trillium Health serves everyone regardless of ability to pay, and we want to ensure that we can continue to provide care to our community for decades to come.”

Trillium Health is a Community Health Center that provides services that include: primary care, supportive services, pediatrics, gynecology, harm reduction services, subsidized housing for people experiencing homelessness, support groups for LGBTQ+ communities of color, and more. In addition, Trillium Health has a mobile clinic.

“We’ve come a long way since the HIV/AIDS crisis first emerged in 1981,” said Dr. William Valenti, Co-Founder, Senior Vice President, and Staff Physician at Trillium Health. “Thanks to medical advances, people living with HIV can live full, healthy lives. However, there is much more work to be done. We still need to do more HIV testing, treatment, and prevention to stop the spread of HIV.”
