ROCHESTER, N.Y. We are waking up to another chilly start to the day as temperatures have started off in the low 40s once again!
Grab the sweater and jacket out the door early today, but we are expected to turn a bit milder than the past couple of days as highs reach the mid 60s this afternoon. We are also waking up to an abundance of sunshine, and that is expected to continue through today as well!
Enjoy today because wet weather is expected tomorrow and through the early part of this week. An area of low pressure will move to our north tomorrow and bring us cloud cover with scattered showers for Sunday.
A few rumbles of thunder will also be possible in the afternoon tomorrow, and no severe weather is expected. A complete washout is not expected but a good chance for rain, which could be heavy at times, will be possible starting in the early morning hours.
So for those heading to the Rochester Half Marathon tomorrow morning be prepared for occasional showers through the race. The unsettled weather will continue into early next week as low pressure slowly moves to our northeast.
