Accused Buffalo shooter arraigned, pleaded not guilty Monday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC) – Peyton Gendron, the man accused of shooting and killing 10 black people at a Tops store in Buffalo, was arraigned and pleaded not guilty Monday morning in Buffalo, where he has been behind bars since mid-May.
He was indicted this past Thursday on the federal offenses. He is facing 27 charges, including 10 counts of hate crimes resulting in death. If convicted, he could face life behind bars or the death penalty.
