Costco limiting sales of toilet paper, other goods

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Costco is going back to putting limits on how much you can buy on certain items, and yes, that means toilet paper.

The membership-only chain will also be limiting paper towels and cleaning supplies.

According to a report from CNN Business, Costco’s CFO says the limit is due to increased demand due to the spread of the Delta variant, but also, difficulty finding trucks, drivers, and shipping containers to get the items to its stores.

Additionally, an increase in shipping costs has led to an increase in prices for certain goods.
