Deputies: Security staff injured breaking up fight at Rush-Henrietta High School

HENRIETTA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A security employee at Rush-Henrietta High School is injured and a student is facing an assault charge after the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says a fight broke out at the end of the school day Friday.
Deputies had to respond to help security staff break up the fight.
The Sheriff’s Office says the security member sustained minor injuries.
The student who allegedly caused the injuries was charged with third degree assault, and the rest of the students who were allegedly involved in the fight are being disciplined by the school, deputies say.
No other injuries were reported.
