RPD: Shots fired at East and Alexander

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are investigating a shooting that happened in the area of East Avenue and Alexander Street.

According to Police, at approximately 1:16 a.m. Saturday morning, officers in the area heard multiple gunshots being fired.

Officers responded to 315 Alexander Street, where it was reported that a fight had broken out. The fight then escalated into an exchange of gunfire.

No one was injured during the shooting. RPD said that the incident is currently under investigation.
