Genesee Brew House’s Helles lager wins best beer in New York State

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Genesee Brew House brought home an award for having the best beer in the entire state.

The Brew House’s Helles lager won for the best beer in New York State. It also won best traditional light lager. The New York State craft beer competition was held on Saturday night in Albany. Brew Master Dean Jones got a standing ovation from the crowd.
