Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren released from hospital, returns to work after salmonella poisoning

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren Monday returned to work after a nearly week-long stay in the hospital for treatment of salmonella poisoning.
A city spokesperson announced the news Monday morning.
The spokesperson said Warren was admitted on July 5, and Deputy Mayor James Smith had acted on her behalf as necessary and maintained contact with Warren throughout her hospitalization.
