ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— If you want to go to a Rochester Amerks hockey game, or a Knighthawks lacrosse game this season at the Blue Cross Arena, you may soon have to follow new health and safety rules.
Following a move by Erie County health leaders, and reps from Pegula Sports and Entertainment to mandate proof of vaccine for all guests 12 and over at Highmark Stadium, a PSE rep was asked if the same protocols could be expected at the BCA.
"Similar, yeah, I can’t speak to that," PSE Executive Vice President Ron Raccuia said. "We haven’t had those conversations yet with their county executive yet and their mayor, but yeah, similar."
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello’s office confirms those conversations have not happened yet for the arena.
