Gillibrand to announce $24M for child care for police officers Friday in Irondequoit

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will be in Irondequoit to announce a bill designed to help grow the police ranks.
The legislation would provide $24 million in federal money for child care for police officers. The bill has bi-partisan support.
Gillibrand points to the shortage of police officers and says helping with child care issues will help recruit more officers.
