Irondequoit’s deer bow hunting program starts Tuesday

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — The Irondequoit Police Department is starting its deer management program on Tuesday, aiming to control deer populations.

The bow hunting program runs until Dec. 13. Hunting is allowed at approved sites during school days while school is in session from sunrise until noon.
