RIT men’s hockey loses in first round of NCAA tournament, ends year as conference champs
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The RIT men’s hockey game has reached the end of its season, losing 6-3 to Boston U Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
This is the furthest the Tigers have gone since 2016. RIT ends its season as Atlantic Conference champions, having defeated American International on Saturday night.
RIT, seeded fourth, and top-seeded Boston U had never played each other before Thursday.
